Great cafe, we came for a quick brunch. We had the breakfast wrap with a side of hashbrowns. They were delicious, the food came out quick and the girl was prompt with bringing out food and topping up coffee. Great view of the little marina and airstrip.

What a great little spot for really well made food! Tasty, well priced for the quality you get!. Friendly staff, ( cramped in side if it's inclement) so get there early. Great place, we'll be back!

I have been to D's many times. This morning my buddy and I dropped in for breakfast and Vicky cooked us our usual special. Along with the coffee, the breakfast set us up for the day. Thanks Vicky for all the home cooked delights you make available.

Top-notch for a coffee break Breakfast and lunch options Some baked goods A few tables to sit at and a front and back patio come the warm weather Good variety on the menu board. The place can be a little cold, temp wise if you there at opening. But once the kitchen fires it will warm up fast So just go try it out. Then go for a walk around the air park. NOTE, Cash or Debit only, no charge card

We just loved this spot, it’s so charming. It’s a simple cafe overlooking the Marina with outdoor seating. It just feels peaceful and homey, great sootto strike up a conversation with a local. The staff are warm and friendly. We didn't eat anything, but it smelled good and the menu had good, light offerings. We had a cup of tea and a very good raspberry bran muffin.

D’s is a hidden gem. Located at the entrance to the Courtenay not Comox Airfield it is a great place to grab a bite before or after walking the path around the air field. They usually have one cook/owner and one server. The food is always fresh and delicious. There is indoor, on the deck and outside patio seating. Something for everyone. Awesome for plane enthusiasts. Best of all the food is extra good. I’m enclosing pics of the perogies I had and the soup of the day, mushroom and the Chicken Club on Focaccia Sandwich my wife had. All a solid 5+

WOW!!! , my son and I have been walking by D’s for a long time now in the mornings while we walk our dog(s) the smell makes your mouth water ! , This Sunday we finally decided to go and have breakfast with one of our dogs in tow. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the biggest smile and a heartwarming welcome from the young lady behind the counter. I had eggs/bacon/ham /toast/sausage /hash browns and sour dough toast with a coffee ( yes I like breakfast ) my son had French toast and bacon. The eggs were wonderful with yolks a nice dark orange , bacon was thick and cooked perfectly , even the toast was delicious !!! My son’s French toast was plentiful and he claims it’s the best he has ever had. This little Gem is by far hands down the best breakfast joint in the valley and I am not exaggerating. The food tasted like food! Not generic or blah but healthy and yummy!!! We will definitely be back as much as we can and I will forever be their ambassador , thank you staff for giving us a wonderful morning , our dog thanks you as well because the treat you have him made his day!!!
